Wireless Penetration Testing

Test the network in the air.

Testing of your Wi-Fi and wireless networks for rogue access, weak encryption, and segmentation gaps that let an attacker onto your network.

What we test

Where we focus

Encryption and authentication weaknesses

Rogue and evil-twin access points

Guest and network segmentation

Client and pre-shared-key attacks

Signal exposure and coverage

Segmentation to internal systems

This is part of our Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing service. Retest validation is included at no added cost.

Who it's for

Organizations with corporate Wi-Fi, guest networks, or wireless-connected systems in offices, warehouses, or facilities that want to ensure the network in the air cannot be used to reach internal systems.

FAQ

Common questions

What is wireless penetration testing?

Wireless penetration testing assesses Wi-Fi and other wireless networks for weak encryption, rogue access, authentication flaws, and segmentation gaps that could let an attacker onto the network. It focuses on how wireless exposure connects to internal systems.

What is an evil-twin access point?

An evil-twin is a rogue access point that impersonates a legitimate wireless network to trick devices into connecting to it. Once connected, an attacker can intercept traffic or capture credentials, which is why testing looks for susceptibility to this technique.

Why does network segmentation matter for wireless?

Segmentation keeps guest and wireless networks separated from sensitive internal systems, so a foothold on Wi-Fi does not automatically grant access to critical infrastructure. Testing verifies these boundaries hold and that guest, corporate, and internal traffic are properly isolated.
